NDZ Performance Laser Engraved Original Elk Ridge ER-A004BW Pakkawood "Stalwart" Spring Assisted Ballistic Knife . The ER-A004BW makes for an excellent every-day-carry, with its 3CR13 Black Stainless Steel 3mm thick blade, attached to its 4.75" Brown Pakkawood Handle. Pakkawood (also known as Staminawood, Colorwood, Dymondwood and compreg) is a combination of hard wood layers and resins fused together under intense heat and pressure. Multiple layers combined to create very unique grain finish plywood that is inert, stronger than normal wood, more moisture resistant and will not warp. It will last longer and overall look better, maintaining a long lasting natural high gloss finish, and each Pakkawood model is never quite the same as the next, with each layer providing a different layer of colors and grain patterns. When the knife is in the closed position, the blade is held in place by means of torsion springs; as the user applies manual pressure to the thumb stud to open the knife, m echanisms such as the torsion spring moves along a track in the liner and rapidly rotates the blade into the open and locked position. Features built-in flipper, thumb stud, belt/pocket clip, lanyard hole and Pakkawood handle.
